SeaKat was formed to provide administrative and business support services for Durham and Simcoe Regions,
with a specialty in the association sector.  Combined experience provides over 50 years of expertise in the
business and association worlds.

Focus on CEO: Beth Ann Kenny, CAE

Beth Ann Kenny provides a wealth of knowledge and experience for SeaKat.  Beth Ann is the past Executive
Director of a provincial association for communication health professionals, and she also recently served in
the following positions:
  • Chair of an alliance of health care associations in the community services sector
  • Secretary for a provincial coalition of all regulated health care associations
  • President of the largest chapter of a society for association executives
  • Chair of a parent-community Council
  • Leader in her local church, including serving as Elder, President of the Women's Group and Sunday
    School Teacher
  • Secretary and Treasurer of a local sports group

Beth Ann was the Executive Director, Operations, of the largest pharmacists' association in Canada.  She has
also held a consultant secretariat position for an alliance of health care providers and major stakeholder
associations in Ontario.  After attending Wheeling Jesuit University and working for a major corporation in the
U.S., Beth Ann earned the Certified Association Executive designation and focused her career aspirations on
helping society through her expertise in association management.

  • Security (risk management newsletter)
  • The OSLA Connection (quarterly magazine for speech-language pathologists and audiologists)
  • Inbox Insider (monthly e-zine)
  • HomeLink (parent-community newsletter)

Many of Beth Ann's articles have been published in
Forum (the Canadian Society of Association Executives -
Trillium Chapter newsletter), a trade publication for event managers, and Beth Ann's work appears in local
newspapers and regional journals.

Beth Ann is a recipient of the Ontario Pharmacists' Association's Meritorious Service Award and a Silver
Award of Merit from the Girl Guides of Canada.  Her style is collaborative, energized, direct, and focused on
excellence.  Positive r
